Materials:
- Pako Pako templates (at the bottom)
- Scissors
- Tape
- Glue stick
Process:
First, cut around the shape of the templates.
Then, stick the two pages by the yellow part and the white one next to the green one with tape from behind.
After that, make valley folds ("v" shape) on all the vertical lines that separate each colour.
Later, make an accordion shape with the template to give the shape.
Next, make mountain folds ("^" shape) through the horizontal less steep lines.
You can copy those mountain folds by carrying the point that makes to the other extreme and then folding the other side again.
After you did all the mountain folds (112 in total), turn the template over and repeat the process but with the more steep lines so when you turn around the template again, they are all valley folds.
When you did all the folds (238 in total), stick the top colorless part of the template with the bottom part from behind by turning it all the way around.
Finally, try to mark the folds so the figure can start turning and changing colours.
Optional:
You have seen that the upper and bottom part of the Pako Pako is open, with this optional section you'll be able to have it closed and more aesthetic.
First of all, you need to lift up an edge and fold the corner to the center of the circle.
Then, you will see that the corner next to the one you just folded lifts up.
The corner that lifts up, fold it to the middle and continue repeatedly until the hole closes up.
To finish, repeat this process on the other side of the figure.
